from Coach Cutler
At many meets there are fans who bring cowbells or other noise producing objects to help their athletes hear their support. With so many fans at bigger meets yelling, it is difficult for athletes to know that their fans are near. With this in mind, some parents have come up with the idea of bringing wooden shoes to the conference cross country meet in Knoxville next Tuesday. Banging a pair of wooden shoes together would make a unique noise that our athletes could hear and distiguish from all the other yelling and screaming of support. Obviously it also shows tremendous spirit for our Little Dutch mascot as well. I think this is a wonderful idea, and I hope that many of you will join the idea. Thank you so much for all the support you have shown the team this season.
